Finding The Voice In You

VoiceInYou
This message offers something for everyone. Sometimes also referred to as, “Changing the World”, “Reaching Your True Potential”, or “Becoming a Better You”, this speech can be tailored to such individuals and groups as middle and high school students, college students, parents, teachers, managers, leaders, churches, businesses, and charitable organizations, just to name a few. Anyone wishing to better themselves, make a difference to others, and live a more successful life will benefit from the powerful words of encouragement and the challenges in this message. “Finding the Voice in You” can be delivered in one keynote speech or in a number of other ways including smaller sessions and multiple parts. Listeners will be engaged and motivated through a variety of relevant icebreakers and other activities as well as by music and multimedia presentations appropriate to the occasion and group, and there’s always room for humor, right?

Many people suffer from a lack of self confidence and do not feel they are worthy of good things. Also, many people simply do not believe that they can or should make a difference in the world. After hearing this message, people should have a better grasp of their own innate self-worth and the importance of surrounding themselves with others who accept them exactly as they are. Also, the listening audience should begin to understand the importance of dreaming big and then working to accomplish those dreams. Instead of listening to negative voices that may try to squash their ideas or hold them back, people will be reminded to focus on their inner voice and their passion to make a difference. Optional follow-up meetings or sessions can be added to this message to help people go even further. This message is available with “Chatroom”. Regardless of what age, occupation, or desires you may have, your life is sure to be changed by hearing this speech.

Failure Is Not An Option

Failure

If your group, organization, business/corporation, classroom, or anyone else could benefit from a powerful message on leadership, team work, problem solving, risk, perseverance, and more, this is the speech for you! In April 1970, three astronauts lifted off on Apollo 13 – scheduled to be the third landing on the moon. Two days into their mission, things went horribly wrong when an oxygen tank exploded, leaving the crew with little more than an hour of breathing oxygen, electrical power, and fuel. There was a very real chance these three brave men would not make it home, or even make it through another day. Yet, as depicted in the 1995 movie “Apollo 13”, these men did in deed make it home alive. How did they do it? Matt Vollbrecht has had the opportunity to explore American manned space flight in-depth, with a particular emphasis on the flight of Apollo 13. In this presentation, filled with enough detail to spark interest in manned space flight but simple enough for people of all ages to grasp, Matt describes some of the defining moments that took place during Apollo 13’s journey and uses these events and the reactions of flight controllers and astronauts to exemplify amazing leadership, team work, trust, and dedication to solving problems. Matt also explores the importance of taking risks and following your dreams in this powerful message. “Failure Is Not An Option” was the general philosophy that prevailed at Mission Control, and Matt encourages audiences to embrace such values for anything and everything in life. The presentation includes powerful multimedia, hands-on activities, a question and answer period, and much more. Consider this message for your next school assembly, business meeting, conference, and a variety of other events. Want to include this presentation in your next church event? No problem. Matt can include additional resources which explain how God’s hand saved the three Apollo 13 Astronauts.

Blind Faith – From Lemons to Lemonade

This speech is about overcoming adversity. Matthew Vollbrecht has been blind since the age of three and has faced many challenges throughout his life. In this message, he draws on these experiences and challenges to show how they can be overcome. This speech is appropriate for people of all ages and from all walks of life. Church groups, schools, and even business and charitable organization members and leaders can gain something from this speech. It can be customized to fit specific people, groups, and circumstances – taking on the form of a “Diversity awareness” speech when needed. Camps for those with special needs will find this message particularly motivating. For example, those with disabilities can learn how to overcome struggles they may face, and parents, teachers, spouses, or others who regularly encounter those with disabilities can learn how to appropriately interact with such individuals to further their potential. Yet, even people without physical or other disabilities will face various challenges and struggles throughout their lives, and this speech will change their lives too. The underlying theme of this message is that in every aspect of our lives, we are given choices as to how to deal with what we’ve been given. Listeners will learn specific ideas for coping with struggles and for using those struggles for good as well as overcoming them entirely. In churches or other places where it is appropriate, people will be reminded about the importance of faith in God and His love and power, but in schools or other places where this is not welcome, it will be entirely left out of the message. Either way, listeners will be shown that adversity does not build character – it reveals it. Any challenge we may face can serve as another chance to show what we are made of and as a way to push us to new heights. This message is usually packed with great audience participation activities, powerful music, humor, and optionally, a book study of “Blind Faith” by Matthew Vollbrecht. If desired, follow-up sessions can also be arranged. This message can be enhanced with “Chatroom”.

I’ve Got a Feelin’

This speech is specifically targeted toward teens and young adults – those who may be struggling to try to find themselves. This message, complete with music, fun and engaging activities, humor, and more will help listeners make sense of the chaos that is life. The audience will learn how to understand, deal with, and accept the many feelings and emotions they may be experiencing. They will be guided in understanding choices and consequences, and they will be reminded that they are worthy to be listened to. They will be shown through various activities and examples not to change who they are or what they do just to fit in, but rather to find people who accept and love them exactly as they are. In church youth groups, listeners can be guided to an understanding that God is always with them and willing to give them whatever they need, but in schools or other settings, this part can be excluded from the presentation altogether. Optional follow-up sessions are available upon request. “Chatroom” is available and is highly recommended for this speech.

Your Family, Your Faith, and You

One of the most diverse and most customizable speeches available, this message can be tailored to fit almost any audience including dating teens, young couples, parents, children, and more. Available with or without a discussion of faith in God depending on the setting and client preference, this message can be delivered as a keynote, various breakout sessions, or in almost any way you can think of. Complete with humor, music, activities, and more, this presentation focuses on understanding what makes you who you are, why you do and say the things you do, and how to use every one of your “issues” to better yourself and everyone you regularly encounter such as your children, your spouse, or your parents. Various aspects of relationships, parenting, and marriage can be discussed. People will be shown some common pitfalls that often have an impact on relationships and how to deal with and overcome them. Follow-up sessions are available and recommended. We strongly recommend adding “Chatroom” to this message.

Training Our Future For the Future

This speech is most appropriate for parents, teachers, administrators, and school districts in general. Like all other Blind Faith Ministries speeches, it does include humor, music, activities, multimedia, and optional follow-up sessions. It has a strong focus on technology and on various ways for parents and teachers to engage their children and students for learning in the 21st century. It also includes ideas, examples, and recommendations on various contemporary parenting and teaching techniques which can help children and students feel more involved in the decisions that directly affect their childhood and their education. We suggest adding “Chatroom” to further enhance this speech.

Titanic – What Happened!

We have all heard of the Titanic, but do we know what music was played or what foods people ate on the ship? What really happened? What went wrong? Why were third class passengers kept below deck until it was too late? Matthew Vollbrecht has studied extensively everything related to the Titanic disaster. He has been recognized as a Titanic historian, and his book “Titanic – The Most Complete Story Ever Told” has been praised by many readers and by various historical societies. Now, Matthew is able to speak to elementary and high school students or anyone else with an interest in the Titanic. Using multimedia, activities, and more, he can provide an overview of what happened, how and why it happened, how it has impacted society and culture, and much more.

Write About It

After having written two books, and with more in the works, Matthew loves to share with elementary and high school students, or anyone else who might be interested, how to become a writer. He talks about the writing process, turning ideas into powerful stories, editing, publishing, modern e-book technology, and much more. Listeners will even get a chance to begin writing their own stories.

I’ve Got a Song

Similar to his speech on writing, this message will help elementary and high school students and others learn how to put their ideas to music. Complete with demonstrations and audience participation activities, this presentation will actually allow listeners to try their hand at writing and arranging music. It contains a focus on powerful music technology that can help people become music pros. Where appropriate, the audience will even be given an overview of how to record and market an album and the legal steps necessary to do so.

We Offer Training Too

All of the above speeches, and almost any other speech we may offer, can be designed instead as a training program – consisting of one or more individual sessions. For example, instead of a keynote speech on self-improvement or on writing and publishing your first book, Blind Faith Ministries can create hands-on, interactive training courses to fit your group, your needs, and your budget. For more information on this, just ask when you talk with us or request a quote.
